This beautiful Esquire "Prototype" is based on an nitro-lacquered two-piece swamp ash body, and a one-piece quartersawn maple neck with 7.25" fretboard, standard thin-shape (equivalent to the Fender standard C-Shape), 6105 frets and bone saddle, with a very nice nitro finish. The weight is only 3,? kg.

The built-in scatterwound original Vintage specs "Arty's Vintage Clone 1950 Esquire Pickup" offer the authentic Twang Sound with enough power over the whole range. The pickups are currently only installed in our guitars, and are not available elsewhere. The wiring consists of a volume and a push/pull tone pot. With the tone knob pulled, there is the familiar "cocked wah mod". On request, any other wiring can be installed at no extra charge.

The guitar is of course perfectly adjusted and wonderfully playable, the frets are perfectly aligned. The sustain is bell-shaped, long and clear. This gem is optically and technically absolutely TOP!

It is delivered in a robust Thomann ABS case for safe shipping.

Small changes and adjustment requests are of course possible free of charge. Other change requests, e.g. other pickups are possible against deposit and possibly surcharge. Please ask before purchase.

This beautiful Broadcaster/Nocaster Repro (No. 0885) is based on an Nitro-lacquered Two-piece Swamp Ash Body, and a One-piece Maple Neck with 7.25" Fretboard, standard thin-shape (equivalent to the Fender Standard C-Shape), 6105 Frets and Unbleached Bone Saddle, with a very nice nitro finish. The weight is only 3,1 kg.

We imported the Body and Neck directly "naked" from Warmoth USA (it couldn't be better), and lacquered it in our workshop with nitrocellulose lacquer like in the Fifties. The lacquer is absolutely no comparison to the characterless 2 mm thick hard plastic coating of some of today's Tele's. The Bakelite Pickguard is handmade and adapted to the body. To match the year of manufacture we have fitted an original Fender Vintage Bridge with Brass Saddles, Kluson Vintage Tuner and a milled Jackcup instead of the later used pressed bushings. All parts were artificially aged (Relic Finish).

The electronics are the same as a guitar from the Fifties but with the usual classic 3-Way circuit, CRL 3-Way Switch, 250k Pots, Vintage .05MFD ZYW1S5 Repro Cap and Treble Bleed, all wired with Vintage Cloth Wire. On request, any other of our Tele Kits can be installed at no extra charge.
